Use Built-In Speech Recognition (Vista)
You'll need a microphone. Click "Start," "Control Panel," and then "Ease of Access." Double-click "Speech Recognition Options." Click "Start Speech Recognition." Then go through the setup which involves setting up a microphone and speaking to set volume levels. Then run the speech tutorial to learn the basics.
Un-Freeze Your iPhone
Randomly iPhones just freeze up. To get it working again press and hold the round "Home" button while pressing and holding the silver button on the top right of the phone (the sleep/wake button). Hold down both buttons until the phone goes black or shows a silver Apple logo or you're given the option to slide the power off.
Test Your Internet Speed
Are you getting the upload and download speeds your Internet provider promised you? Try this fun speed test site.
Use iPhone to Identify Music
At the application store on your phone download the free program called "Shazam." When you need to identify a song open the Shazam application and press the "Tag Now" button. Point the bottom of your iPhone towards the music source for about 20 seconds. That's it.
Make Your Computer Run More Smoothly
By pressing the buttons "Ctrl+Alt+Del" all at the same time you will bring up your Windows Task Manager. This will tell you what applications and processes are currently running. Remove any you don't need to help unburden your computer.
