Hold the "CTRL" button down and turn the wheel on your mouse. An open window in Explorer or other programs will zoom in or out.
Lock Up Your Computer
Press and hold the "Windows" key then press the "L" key. To unlock your computer you must enter your password.
Have More Than One Clock On Your Desktop?
You can get rid of the clock in the system tray by right-clicking on the Task Bar, choosing "Properties," and unchecking "Show the clock."
Add Windows Explorer To Your Desktop
Click "Start," then click on "Programs," then go to "Accessories" and highlight "Windows Explorer." Right-click on "Windows Explorer" and choose "Send to..." - then select "Desktop."
Improve Performance of Windows XP
Right click on the "My Computer" icon on your desktop and click on "Properties." Click on "Advance tab." Under the performance heading click on "Settings" button. Click on "Custom option." All options will be unchecked. Scroll down the list to the end and check last 3 options. Click "Apply."
