After installing the downloader software you merely pick the YouTube Video you want to copy at the YouTube site. Copy and paste the video's URL right out of your browser's URL window and into the downloader's window. Click on radio button - "Download Video From YouTube." Click "Ok" to download the video. Your downloaded video will have the extension .flv. Make a note of where you downloaded it to. Click on the "Show Files..." button if you lose track.
To convert this file to another file format click on the radio button - "Convert Video (previously downloaded) from file". Click on the "..." button to import your downloaded file. Select which format you want to convert to and click "OK." You're done!
