MSGTAG = Message Tag

NAME and DOWNLOAD LINK: MSGTAG Free
DESCRIPTION: MSGTAG is a new desktop application that tells you when your emails have been received and opened.
SIZE: 1.1 MB.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Windows 98, 2000, Me or XP. An email program such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Incredimail, Eudora, Pegasus, or Netscape Mail which uses the SMTP protocol. Does not currently work with Hotmail, Yahoo!, or AOL.
COMMENT: "MSGTAG Free sends you notifications by email when your messages are opened at their destination.

^ Note capsule on left side.
|
The eye-catching MSGTAG capsule sits on your desktop or in your system tray, allowing you to enable or disable tagging with one click."
"It doesn't hassle your friends with pop-up boxes, all they see is a small MSGTAG Footer at the end of your message."
Then you receive an email notification that your message was received...
What I really like about this product, aside from the fact that it actually works, is that it works in the background. You turn it on and off by clicking on the MSGTAG icon in your tray.
I don't usually need to know if and when an email of mine has been opened, but there are times when it's important enough to make this software a worthwhile download.
For $19.95 you can download the "Plus" version which enables you to add your own text to the footer, instead of using the default MSGTAG footer message. You can make your footer invisible if you desire. You would also receive unlimited email technical support.
