Watch Your Videos on Your Phone!

SIZE: 6.7 MB MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Windows 98/ME/XP COMMENT: Having recently purchased an iPhone, yes I paid full price, I discovered it doesn't record video. Hmmm. I could wait for Steve to correct this indiscretion or figure out a work around if I want videos on my phone now. MediaCell to the rescue.
Please examine the screenshot above closely. It is worth a 1000 words. Using the "Browse..." button at the top right you grab your video files off whatever drive they're on. You can press the "Advanced" button in the middle to adjust the quality and size of your conversion. Next you look in the lower left corner to pick the mobile device you want your video to be cropped for. Note in this example it is optimized to fit an iPhone screen. But there is a list of various mobile devices to choose from. Lastly, you press the big black "Convert" button. Done! Make note of where the output is located on your computer. Getting the converted file onto your mobile device will vary depending on, well... the device. In my case I just drag and drop my video files into my iTunes page and then sync it with my phone. Your life may or may not be that easy. |
